When tracking gorillas layering your clothing is the best idea and we suggest: long sleeved shirts, cotton or gore tex trousers, strong walking shoes with ankle support, socks that you can tuck your trousers into, light gloves to protect your hands from thorns and nettles, a hat and sunglasses to provide protection against the sun and a waterproof jacket in neutral colors may come in handy in the moist mountains.

Travel light and remember that soft-sided luggage is required. One medium sized duffel bag and one small day pack (carry-on) per person should be adequate. Laundry services are available at most accommodations. You should also pack some zip lock bags for spare clothing, cameras, binoculars and film.

2 Days Rwanda Gorilla Trekking

This 2 Days Rwanda Gorilla Trekking offers visiting the genocide memorials in Kigali, local markets and crafts and finally the mountain Gorillas experience in Parc Volcanoes in the Northern Province of Rwanda. Then we shall stay at Budget and we are much delighted to arrange for this amazing gorilla safari in Africa.

Day1: Kigali-Transfer to Volcanoes National park

In the morning, you will be picked from your hotel or at the airport and go for a city tour in Kigali where you will visit the genocide memorial center. After with en-route lunch, you will transfer northwards to Volcanoes national park in Ruhengeri, a home to half of the Mountain Gorillas in the mist. Dinner and overnight at Muhabura Guest House. Day2: Mountain Gorilla Tracking-Transfer Back to Kigali

In the morning, assemble at the park headquarters for a briefing in the morning together with your trekking gear and drinking water and packed lunch. Later proceed to the forest to track the gorillas, an activity that will take you 2-6 hours depending on the movement of the apes in their natural wild.

After meeting and staying in the presence of the gorillas for a maximum of one hour, descend back to the headquarters for your gorilla trekking certificate and after meet the driver and transfer back to Kigali.

3 Days Rwanda Gorilla Trekking

Day1: Kigali-Volcanoes National Park

Upon arrival at Kigali international airport, at 8.20 am meet our English speaking guide/driver and thereafter proceed to Ruhengeri expect great view of the cascading scenery of Rwanda it’s the Drive through beautiful mountains until you get to the home of the gorillas Kinigi in the Musanze region. Dinner and overnight at Muhabura Guest House. Meal plan: H/B

Day2: Rwanda Gorilla Tracking

Have a lovely breakfast in the morning and proceed to the headquarters for briefing about the gorillas and meeting the park rangers. The experience is exhilarating as you get ready to hike through the jungle in search for the gorillas you will see them in groups as they do their daily routine work, mothers feeding their young ones, playing, feeding and some resting you will be required to switch off your flash as you take pictures. Trekking the gorillas takes about 1 to 4 hours to find them.

After trekking the gorillas, return to your lodge for relaxation and then in the evening visit the twin Lakes (Burera & Ruhondo) and then return to lodge for dinner and overnight as above.

Day3: Golden Monkey Tracking-Kigali

Have breakfast early morning and proceed for golden monkey tracking, this is another existing activity Prior to meeting the golden monkeys; you will see other primates, fauna and flora. Finally get face to face with the beautiful golden monkeys. You will see them play as they jump from one branch of tree to the other all this will be fun and memorable for your African adventure tour. Drives back to Kigali international airport and at 6.40 pm depart for Nairobi and say bye.
